Dell Boomi Sponsors SAP SuccessConnect Conference
It can be difficult for even the most adept of businesses to manage all their networked services that run from on-premise and cloud-based services. The mix of processes, services, applications and flow of data can make for a mess if not handled properly. Boomi has offered its own software for that management task – moving to cloud-based management with its AtomSphere service in 2007 – and has continued to offer an integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) in AtomSphere since Dell acquired the company in 2010.
Now Dell Boomi will play a primary role at this year’s SAP SuccessConnect conference, which focuses on positive development of the human resources department in businesses everywhere. HR departments have a lot on their shoulders; they must focus on, among other tasks, hiring and training new staff, workplace compliance with state and federal laws, and safety in the workplace.
Computing programs and services can help automate these responsibilities, but only if they are managed correctly. For instance, it would be worthwhile for a live training seminar to be broadcast across multiple company sites at the same time. Yet it could be a sign of inefficiency – at worst a day-long disaster – to see that important training event experience transmission problems. Dell Boomi can have a hand in such processes by making sure that company networks work well with one another and can accept video transmissions as well as simultaneous device connections from a crowd of users.
SAP’s SuccessConnect speaks about those issues and many others. Through booths that display new product and speeches that promote best practices, the HR industry has a place in this conference where it can witness the major trends happening in the most progressive workplaces. Those trends include the role that computing plays and the benefits that individual software packages such as AtomSphere can provide.
Will Corkery, the vice president of worldwide sales and business development at Dell Boomi, expressed his excitement for being a partner of the conference and the impact his company can have on HR.
“[SAP] is a key partner, and we’re proud to work together to help our customers reimagine the way HR works, and the impact it can have,” Corkery exclaimed.
