SAP Teams with Twintech to Discuss Benefits of Cloud HCM
Any successful business knows how important employees are. Not just getting the right people to work for you, but keeping them is key. That’s where HCM steps in. Since it includes everything related to human resources – from staffing and performance down to compensation and recruiting, the function has become vital.
The way businesses are carrying out their HR functions is changing today. No longer are paper and pen spreadsheets a viable or sensible choice. Automation of all these processes is really at the heart of HCM and the question so many organizations are trying to solve.
An HCM Cloud solution such as SAP SuccessFactors can be extremely beneficial, especially when deployed with a trusted partner such as Saberpoint, because organizations get all the real-time benefits of the private cloud and the tools needed to succeed.
To highlight this, SAP recently held a roundtable event together with Nigeria-based tech services first company Twintech in the Nigerian state of Lagos. The focus at the event was on the ways new cloud-based Human Resources software work and how they are advantageous for businesses.
Participants from sectors including banking, insurance, advertising and more participated along with Ayokanmi Ayuba, Channel Development Manager of SAP.
Of particular focus was the fact that cloud solutions are still growing in the Nigerian tech space and that the lack of innovation in the space needs to change. It’s a hot market to get into at the moment because the benefits are grand. Noting the benefits, Ayuba said:
“You don’t have to invest in servers, networking and other hardware devices if you are to implement the solutions on premise (in-house). Nigeria is due for cloud solutions. A lot of our personal information is stored in the cloud. The country is witnessing a digital transformation and the revolutionary power of social media in helping people do businesses better.”
Earlier this year, SAP SuccessFactors HCM, was named in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Talent Management Suites and also placed in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Integrated Talent Management 2016 Vendor Assessment for the seventh year in a row.
