HCM Expert Week in Review: What Do You Do for Your Employees?

This week’s focus was on helping employees to be better – and have more benefits by working with you. A special feature this week took a look at the ways helping your employees to find another job when they leave you can actually be beneficial for your brand.


Especially in our current market with layoffs being a norm, organizations that include some type of outplacement services show just how dedicated they are to employees and will deliver benefits for their brand and reputation that are far reaching.

It could even help with reducing unemployment tax burdens and limiting legal liability, among other benefits.

Showing you support your employees is also very important while they are still working for you. Another feature this week looked more closely at how offering better support to employees had an effect on how they in turn offered support to customers.

We all have heard about great customer experience starting with the agents and reps they speak with. If these employees don’t have the right tools in place and aren’t feeling appreciated, how can they possibly deliver optimal care?

Speaking of caring about your workers, many organizations are turning to at work wellness and weight loss programs to help improve their workforces.

There are many benefits that healthy workers can bring to the table. Having a program that is work-based is a great way to keep people accountable and get health on the brains of the many obese adults today.

Finally, this week we took a look back at Accenture’s SAP SuccessFactors Project from last year and how that’s been going.  To date, the project has brought over 10 different firms from the United States, Canada and Europe in industries including chemical, energy and consumer goods using Accenture's High Velocity Talent and HR system to get better functionality out of SAP SuccessFactors.
